Brand Avgvst—for women “who don’t wear jewelry”—is a brainchild of a creator who never studied jewelry making. Avgvst was born out of her love for the vant-garde and modern architecture and her desire to find shapes so simple and universal as to become the extension of the body. The designer calls her style newelry: minimalist and timelessly styled pieces will look equally at home next to an evening gown or straight jeans and Birkenstocks.
