In 2007, the Parisienne Julie Borjot decided to devote herself entirely to her passion for jewelry, leaving behind a 15-years journalistic career—and the brand IMAI was born. The title is a reference to M.I. Road, one of the main roads in the Indian city of Jaipur and home to an abundance of jewelry stores. But despite a "foreign" name, IMAI is the epitome of French style. Delicate twisted rings and earrings and bohemian 24-carat gold plated chain necklaces are handmade in a Parisian atelier, making each piece unique. This approach, combined with affordable prices, has brought the brand many fans, including Brigitte Macron; the choice of the first lady is a quality mark.
